The Khangura Brothers' Vision for Assisted Living is Set to Transform the Industry

MESA, Ariz., April 3, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The many years that Suky and Jas Khangura spent in the hospitality industry was preparing them for their largest and most impactful project to date, Grande Vita, although they didn't know it yet. Grande Vita was inspired by a very personal experience shared by the brothers while caring for an elderly relative who was suffering from cancer. After navigating the maze of doctors, specialists, treatment centers and other facilities that were spread out all over the city, they started to think that there had to be a better way to care for someone who needed a great deal of assistance in their daily life. It was that experience that created the vision for the 700,000 square foot assisted living and medical campus, which is set to break ground in Mesa, AZ later this spring.

Suky Khangura says that he wanted to completely change the experience of having to care for a person in their twilight years who may need daily medical attention. "We wanted Grande Vita to be all inclusive in one campus, where you can walk everywhere you need or want to go. Our residents wouldn't have to go far to see their doctor, eat, or even get their hair done," said Khangura. "We wanted it to be a place to look forward to going and spending some time, like a resort," he continued.

The Khangura's, in forming a partnership with BioCity Enterprises, assembled a team of seasoned professionals to build Grande Vita. The team consists of experts in finance, branding, long term visionaries, legal professionals and quality operators. BioCity Enterprises vision, similar to the Khangura's, is to lead the way in innovative health care through the next century, starting with Grande Vita.

The campus, which will be designed to have a world-class resort feel, consists of independent and assisted living, hotel rooms, multiple dining options, medical offices, a luxury tower and luxury condos, nursing school and rehab clinic spread out over 20 acres.

Khangura Development does not plan on slowing down after Grande Vita. They have three other Grande Vita-type projects set to break ground in the next few years in Florida, Texas, and Colorado. They also have smaller Grande Vita branded projects in the works with the first one breaking ground in Tucson at the end of April along with Urgent Care facilities on the horizon.
