Energy Edge Consulting Assists California Oil and Gas Company with Solar Energy Purchase

HOUSTON, Mar. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Energy Edge Consulting recently supported E&B Natural Resources Management Corporation's (E&B) negotiations on two solar power projects. E&B, an independent oil and gas company based in California, is investing in solar electricity to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and to economically optimize its oil production business.

Energy Edge guided E&B through the development of a solar based energy strategy and ultimately facilitated the economic evaluation, procurement, and contract negotiation process. Additionally, Energy Edge assisted E&B in understanding the different financing structures available to fund the solar projects.

E&B will install a 23 MW DC photovoltaic facility at its Poso Creek oil field in Kern County and a 3 MW DC photovoltaic facility at its oil operations in Cuyama Valley in Santa Barbara County. Combined, these two renewable energy projects will reduce E&B's carbon dioxide emissions by more than 700,000 metric tons over the 20-year life of the projects.
