REPEAT - Durham-area community and labour activists meet to forge their resistance against Ontario PC government policies


OSHAWA, Ontario, March 19, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Under the Doug Ford government, there is a lot at stake for Ontarians. Labour and community allies must be at the forefront of the Ford resistance, says the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL).

On Tuesday, March 19, the Ontario Federation of Labour and the Durham Region Labour Council are hosting a Regional Activation Meeting in Oshawa. We are inviting all labour and community activists and leaders across the Durham Region.

"When labour and community work together we bring the power of many to the table," said Ontario Federation of Labour President Chris Buckley. "Whether we are fighting for public services like health care and education for all, for decent work, or for safe and healthy communities, we are building a unified movement for change."
