Sherri Wright and Shonda Smith, the Local Owners of Caring Transitions of Mobile and Baldwin Counties, Recognized with National Award

MOBILE, Ala., March 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Caring Transitions is pleased to announce that Sherri Wright and Shonda Smith, the local owners of Caring Transitions of Mobile and Baldwin Counties, have earned the Caring Transitions' Rising Star Award. This national recognition is given to new franchisees who have demonstrated strong leadership and business growth in their first year of operation. The Rising Star Award was presented on February 19, 2019, at the Caring Transitions national conference.

"Sherri and Shonda opened the very first Caring Transitions franchise in the state of Alabama, which means they started from scratch when it came to brand recognition. Although that could have been a challenge, Sherri and Shonda embraced that as an opportunity to build a reputation based on the high-quality, compassionate service we're known for in other communities across the nation. They've done a great job growing their business and I'm looking forward to seeing their business grow in 2019 and beyond," Caring Transitions President Ray Fabik said.

Caring Transitions' specially-trained team can handle organizing, packing, de-cluttering, moving, resettling, in-person and online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions specializes in managing senior relocations, but the services are also perfect for busy families and individuals in need of assistance. Caring Transitions of Mobile and Baldwin Counties serves all of those two counties.

"We were completely surprised and thrilled to receive such a honored award. We are grateful and know, without a doubt, we couldn't have accomplished it without the support of our other franchise owners and the franchise support team in Cincinnati as well as our dedicated employees ? Lori Brill and Justin Burrow as well as our Saturday Estate Sale team members, Damita Stokely and Bryan Stein. We all did our very best to say yes to every job, work hard, consistently deliver services and go the extra mile for our customers and, for Shonda and I, our employees," Wright said.

Wright's background includes 17 years in sales and marketing for home health and hospice while Smith has been an industrial operator and production worker since 1996. Smith also served in the United States Army for eight years. Wright and Smith decided to leave their corporate jobs and started looking for a new business venture that would match both of their skills. With Caring Transitions, they have been able to contribute to the community by providing local employment and reliable customer service. They are looking forward to continued growth in 2019.

"We are looking to expand our team, increase our business base by growing our online auctions and continuing to tailor our services to meet the needs of each individual client. We seamlessly create transitions into the area's Senior Communities with expedited and careful attention to our clients' needs and personal items. We work with the very best partners, including realtors and other local service providers, to make our clients feel at ease and at home during a very difficult time in their life," Smith said.

Caring Transitions of Mobile and Baldwin Counties is fully insured and industry certified. All employees are trained and require background screening.
