CIBC Asset Management Inc. Opens the Market


TORONTO, Jan. 22, 2019 /CNW/ - David Scandiffio, President & CEO, CIBC Asset Management Inc., joined Graham MacKenzie, Head, ETFs and Structured Products, Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange, to open the market to celebrate the launch of four new Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs): CIBC Multifactor Canadian Equity ETF (CMCE); CIBC Multifactor U.S. Equity ETF and CIBC Multifactor U.S. Equity ETF (CAD-Hedged) (CMUE/CMUE.F); CIBC Active Investment Grade Floating Rate Bond ETF (CAFR); and CIBC Active Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF (CACB). CIBC Asset Management, Inc. (CAM), the asset management subsidiary of CIBC, provides a range of investment management services and solutions to retail and institutional investors. CAM's offerings include mutual funds, strategic managed portfolio solutions, discretionary investment management services for high-net-worth individuals, and institutional portfolio management. CMCE; CMUE/CMUE.F; CAFR; and CACB commenced trading on Toronto Stock Exchange on January 22, 2019.
