Chicago Tech Leader Ed Earley Joins Otus

CHICAGO, Jan. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Otus, a Chicago-based educational technology provider for K-12 school communities, today announced the appointment of Ed Earley as Chief Software Architect.

Earley most recently served as Head of Engineering and Chief Architect at SpotHero, where he focused on a large-scale transformation of the company's engineering organization, architecture and internal processes. He previously served as CTO at Scientific Games, where he oversaw all aspects of multiple casino gaming business lines in U.S. and European markets. Earley holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a master's from the University of Chicago.

As part of Otus' leadership team, Earley will focus on building up the platform's architectural and technology vision and scaling the engineering team's processes and organization.
