Georgia Power donates $50,000 to St. Vincent de Paul Georgia to provide relief for Georgians impacted by federal government shutdown


ATLANTA, Jan. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Georgia Power Foundation today announced a $50,000 donation to St. Vincent de Paul Georgia to help provide support to furloughed and unpaid federal workers and contractors in Georgia impacted by the partial government shutdown.

Through the fund, impacted families can ask for assistance by submitting a request to [email protected]. Each email request should include the following:

A St. Vincent de Paul Georgia caseworker will reach out within 24 working hours. Questions regarding assistance through the newly-established fund can also be submitted to [email protected].
