PITTSBURGH, Dec. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Inventors from Aurora, Colo., have developed the SMART NOCK, newly designed equipment for bow hunters. It allows hunters to quickly and easily track their prey after successful hits, as well as recover arrows that missed game animals.
"As hunters, we have shot animals without successful recovery of the animal. With our invention, an animal can always be tracked and found," said the inventors. The SMART NOCK allows a hunter to determine the location of his arrow. It provides a quicker and easier means of tracking and locating an animal. This will eliminate the need for a sportsman to follow the tracks, blood trails, etc., of a wounded animal, thus saving time and effort. In addition, this device prevents the hunter from losing expensive arrows, as well as prevents mortally wounded animals from dying needlessly in the wild.
