Florida Hospital and the Tampa Bay Lightning Cross the Finish Line For Health and Wellness Victory


TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Florida Hospital, Championship Level Partner and Official Health and Wellness Partner of the Tampa Bay Lightning, is also the Title Sponsor of the 18th Annual Florida Hospital Bolt Run, Saturday, November 17, 2018. The race consists of a 5 Mile, 5K, and a Family Fun Run/Walk with the first-ever finisher's circle inside AMALIE Arena just a few feet away from the ice! There are family-friendly activities all morning on Ford Thunder Alley, and giveaways and games in the Florida Hospital quadrant inside the arena.

Each year, the Lightning Foundation donates a portion of the funds raised through participant registration to health and wellness organizations in the community.

The race has over 1,500 participants, and Florida Hospital has over 130 racers signed up as part of the Corporate Challenge. In our commitment to health and wellness, Florida Hospital and PT Solutions have partnered to provide post race stretching and injury screening to each racer. Participants will also receive a ticket to a pre-specified Lightning home game, as well as a t-shirt and finisher's medal.

Packets are still available at the Tampa Bay Sports store at International Plaza and will be available at the AMALIE Arena Ticket Office from 5:30 a.m. ? 6:30 a.m. on race day along with your bib, t-shirt and ticket!
