Email on Acid Launches New Tool That Lets Email Marketers Fix Email Mistakes -- Even If They Don't Know Code

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., Nov. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Email on Acid announced today the launch of Campaign Precheck, a new tool designed to reduce the time required to prepare an email campaign for deployment while also minimizing the inherent email "send anxiety". This new tool will save email marketers valuable time and ensure that every email can be read and understood by all subscribers, regardless of the medium used to engage with the email.

"Campaign Precheck is a revolutionary tool that ensures when you hit the email send button, there is minimal send anxiety," says John Thies, CEO and co-founder of Email on Acid.

Thies says that with Campaign Precheck, an email marketer can now fix email mistakes mid-workflow without the need to start the QA process over.

"The beauty of this tool is that you don't have to know HTML to do any of these changes," Thies says. "Campaign Precheck walks you through a step-by-step email QA process and allows you to change pieces of your email directly within the application."

There are four features in the current Campaign Precheck workflow: Accessibility, preheader text, URL validation, and image validation.

"More than one billion people worldwide have some type of a visual impairment," says Thies. "So, if you aren't creating accessible emails, you're not effectively communicating to a significantly large portion of the population. To put it in perspective, there are 325 million people in the United States."

Many subscribers with visual impairments use assistive devices (such as screen readers) to read their email out loud. Campaign Precheck's accessibility check will look at whether your email code makes it easy for screen readers to interpret your message. This workflow includes analyzing language tags, image alt tags, table tag roles and more.

The accessibility check also looks at contrast ratio, text sizing, and link styling.

"With the Accessibility portion of this tool you don't need to know the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) specifications or standards ? our application is programed with those in-mind and will make the appropriate changes for you," Thies adds.

Along with the accessibility check, Campaign Precheck also includes:

John Thies, CEO and co-founder of Email on Acid, started the company in 2009 as a way for marketers and developers to test and perfect their emails. "It's our mission to simplify email marketing through innovative tools, education and first-class customer service," Thies says. "We want to give email developers and marketers the confidence to hit 'send,' knowing that their emails will work everywhere."
