InventHelp Inventor Develops Dashboard Light Color Selection System (SDB-1219)

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Realizing that car manufacturers continue to look for new automotive enhancements that serve as selling points for their vehicles, an inventor from San Diego, Calif., came up with such a feature. His idea allows owners to change the appearance of the heretofore standard instrument panel according to their own individual taste.

He developed VEHICLE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER COLOR ADJUSTMENT to allow for color customization of automotive instrument panel lights to suit the driver's personal color preference. As such, it enhances the appearance of the car's interior, contributing to its overall appeal. This unique feature may also help improve visibility for nighttime driving. What's more, it is convenient, fun and easy to access and operate. In addition, its simple design minimizes production costs.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I have several vehicles and noticed that the colors of the instrument panel lights differ from vehicle to vehicle," he said. "I thought it would be nice if drivers could select the colors they prefer."

The original design was submitted to the San Diego office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
