USW District 11 Director Emil Ramirez said that the union is proud to endorse a candidate who understands the importance of good, union jobs to the Iron Range economy.

"Joe Radinovich has been standing with us during our fight for fair contracts in the steel industry throughout the summer," Ramirez said. "We are grateful for his continued outspoken support and advocacy and happy to rally with him, as he rallied with us."

District 11 Assistant Director John Rebrovich said that Radinovich will fight for working families on a wide range of issues, from demanding investment in our infrastructure to amending the Constitution to overturn Citizens United and take the dark money out of politics.

"Our members, retirees and their families can trust that Joe Radinovich supports the right for workers to organize and bargain collectively and will protect Medicare and Social Security from attempts to privatize or reduce benefits," Rebrovich said. "He's pledged to work on behalf of seniors and veterans and takes the responsibility of public service seriously enough to be held accountable once he takes office."

The USW represents 850,000 workers in North America employed in many industries that include metals, rubber, chemicals, paper, oil refining and the service and public sectors. For more information: www.usw.org.
