Widow recovers all of her investment losses plus interest after Mark Tepper Law Firm's win against Wells Fargo for Unsuitable Recommendations


FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- A widow who filed claim against Wells Fargo [NYSE: WFC], has been awarded compensatory damages, interest, attorney's fees, and filing fee reimbursement by a FINRA Arbitrator.

The claim was filed with FINRA by the Mark A. Tepper law firm, which represented the widow's fight for recovery of losses that she suffered.

The claims relate to the broker's unsuitable recommendations in oil and gas securities including LINN Energy, LLC,  BreitBurn Energy Partners, LP, and Sandridge Energy, Inc.; real estate Investment trusts ("REITS) including Armour Residential REIT, Inc. and Resource Capital Corp., common and preferred shares; and junk bonds including Swift Energy Co. and Erickson, Inc.

Five companies recommended in the stockbroker's high-risk strategy declared bankruptcy, the Claim had contended.

Among the allegations, was that Wells Fargo Advisors failed to supervise its broker, Jefferey M. Grayson, CRD # 728985.
