Treasure Hunt Ticket Worth $120,000 Sold in York County

MIDDLETOWN, Pa., Jan. 2, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A jackpot-winning Treasure Hunt ticket worth $120,000 from the Friday, December 29, drawing was sold at Red Land Beer & Soda Outlet, 601 Old York Road, York.

The ticket matched all five balls drawn, 07-21-22-25-28, to win a jackpot of $120,000, less applicable tax withholding. The retailer earns a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Prizes must be claimed and tickets validated before winners can be identified. Treasure Hunt winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Anyone holding a jackpot-winning Treasure Hunt ticket should promptly sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office.

In addition to paying more than $82.8 million in prizes to winners in York County during the 2016-17 fiscal year, the Lottery provided more than $27.8 million to benefit older residents.

How to play Treasure Hunt: Players pay $1 and select five numbers from 1 to 30. Players may select their own numbers or opt for computer-selected quick picks. Players must match all five numbers drawn to win the jackpot. Players also win prizes for matching two, three or four winning numbers. A day game, Treasure Hunt is drawn every afternoon and tickets can be purchased up to seven draws (one week) in advance. Ticket sales end at 1:05 p.m. each day. Chances of winning the jackpot prize are 1 in 142,506; the overall chances of winning any prize are about 1 in 5.45.
