Merck Donates over $125,000 to the West Island Community


KIRKLAND, QC, Oct. 31, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - On October 30th, Merck Canada Inc.'s President Chirfi Guindo presented a cheque totalling more than $125,000 for the International Neighbour of Choice award at a "masquerade" celebration held at the company's head office in Kirkland. This year's recipients, The West Island Palliative Care Residence, NOVA West Island and West Island Community Shares, were honoured for the positive impact they have made in the West Island. The Merck International Neighbour of Choice program is designed to support the outstanding work by non-profit organizations whose mission is to improve the quality of life of people and preserve the environment in the communities where Merck operates.
