Strong Revenue for Table Games in August Boosts Overall Pennsylvania Casino Revenue by 2.5%
HARRISBURG, Pa., Sept. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A revenue increase for table games of nearly 11% during August was the driver of an increase for combined overall casino revenue during the month of 2.5%, according to figures released today by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
The report, posted on the Board's web site www.gamingcontrolboard.pa.gov, shows that August 2017 table games revenue of $74,269,815 was an increase of 10.92% over August of last year when revenue was $66,955,105.
Total tax revenue from table games play during August was $11,955,074* with an average of 1,258 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is tasked to oversee all aspects of the state's casino industry. There are 10 stand-alone and racetrack casinos in operation, along with the two smaller resort casinos.
