Match 6 Jackpot Winner Worth $680,000 Sold in Luzerne County

MIDDLETOWN, Pa., Sept. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A Luzerne County retailer sold a jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $680,000 from the Thursday, September 14, drawing.

The ticket correctly matched all six winning numbers, 32-33-41-42-44-49, to win the jackpot prize, less applicable withholding.

The selling location, Pantry Quik, 632 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, earns a $5,000 bonus.

The prize must be claimed and the ticket validated before the winner can be identified. Match 6 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets validated. Match 6 prizes expire one year from the drawing date. Anyone holding a jackpot-winning Match 6 ticket should sign the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office.

More than 33,300 other Match 6 Lotto tickets also won prizes in the drawing. Players are reminded to check every ticket, every time. Lower-tier prizes may be claimed at Lottery retailers.

In the 2015-16 fiscal year, in addition to awarding more than $88.6 million in prizes to Luzerne County winners, the Pennsylvania Lottery contributed more than $36.6 million to programs serving the county's older residents.

How to Play Match 6 Lotto: Players pay $2 and choose six numbers from 1 to 49 or have numbers randomly selected by computer. The computer then randomly selects an additional two sets of six numbers, for three lines of six numbers each or 18 numbers total. Players can win up to four times on each ticket ? once on each of three lines (base play) and by combining all 18 numbers (combined play). Match 6 Lotto is drawn every evening and players can purchase up to 26 draws in advance. Review Match 6 Prizes and Chances at palottery.com.
