IRONMAN Canada^® builds on the tradition of the namesake race that has been part of the IRONMAN circuit for over 30 years. Since moving to Whistler in 2013 it has wowed athletes and their supporters year after year. The race begins with a two-loop, 2.4-mile swim in the clean, shallow waters of Alta Lake. Then a unique 112-mile one-loop bike course that begins on the Sea-to-Sky Highway before climbing into the Callaghan Valley. The two-loop run course follows the meandering Valley Trail past Lost Lake and Green Lake, allowing spectators plenty of opportunities to cheer for their athletes. At the halfway point through Whistler Village, competitors will get a boost right where it matters most.

Competitors will receive a nutritional boost along the race route too, as event volunteers hand-out individual portions of BONED BROTH to athletes at the halfway mark. Bone broth is packed with collagen protein, amino acids, and other nutrients.
