Two Fines Approved By the PA Gaming Control Board


HARRISBURG, Pa., June 7, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today levied fines for violations by licensees totaling $185,000.

The fines were the result of Board approvals at its public meeting of consent agreements between the PGCB's Office of Enforcement Counsel and:

The fine against Presque Isle Downs, Inc. and Eldorado Resorts, Inc. stemmed from multiple violations including unapproved corporate fee and shared services agreements, along with permitting five Principal Employees and nine Gaming Employees to perform their duties without valid Gaming Employee Permits, pending applications on file with the Board, and the requisite temporary authorization by the Board.

The fine against Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, Inc., was for two incidents in which it failed to prevent underage access to the gaming floor of Parx Casino:

The next meeting of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in the PGCB's Public Hearing Room located on the second floor of Strawberry Square in Harrisburg.
