Financial Education Conference for Military, Veterans Scheduled for June 9


HARRISBURG, Pa., May 25, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Veterans, members of any branch of the military, and their spouses and partners are invited to attend the "Making $ense of Finance" conference at Fort Indiantown Gap, on Friday, June 9, 2017, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The conference program is geared specifically towards the financial and investing challenges faced by members of the military and veterans. Those in attendance can choose workshops led by experts in the following areas:

"Service members, veterans and their families face many challenges during a military career, and dealing with finances is near the top of the list," said Brig. Gen. Tony Carrelli, Pennsylvania's adjutant general. "We can't do enough to provide education and guidance about fiscal responsibility, so those who serve can build a strong future without financial worry."

The "Making $ense of Finance" conference is free to members of the military, veterans, and their spouses, but registration is required. Free refreshments and parking will be provided. Liberty USO will be awarding raffle prizes to participants. Space is limited.
