S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

A Deletion from the S&P/TSX SmallCap and the S&P/TSX Capped Information Technology Indices

TORONTO, April 26, 2017 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Indices Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:  

The shareholders of Halogen Software Inc. (TSX:HGN) have agreed to the $CDN12.50 cash per share takeover offer from Saba Software and Vector Capital. The shares of Halogen Software will be removed from the S&P/TSX SmallCap and the S&P/TSX Capped Information Technology Indices prior to the open of trading on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
