Aéroports de Montréal is proud to be associated with the 375,000 Trees program for Earth Day


MONTRÉAL, April 21, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - On the eve of Earth Day 2017, Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) has launched an exhibition on celebrated botanist Francis Hallé at Montréal?Trudeau airport and announced a partnership with Jour de la Terre for the 375,000 Trees planting program developed as part of the celebrations marking Montréal's 375th anniversary.

"As a responsible corporation, we firmly believe in sustainable development and are aware of the tree's importance," said Philippe Rainville, President and Chief Executive Officer of ADM. "We are pleased to do our small part to protect our planet. As part of the Earth Day project, we will plant 500 trees in an initial phase."

For his part, Pierre Lussier, Director of Jour de la Terre, said: "Jour de la Terre is pleased to partner with Aéroports de Montréal in the reforestation of Montréal's green belt. We thank ADM for its contribution to the 375,000 Trees program, which is accompanied by an exhibition presented by Éditions Museo Éditions on celebrated French botanist Francis Hallé, which we are proud to host in Montréal in this celebratory 375th anniversary year."

Francis Hallé's exhibition is produced by Museo, publisher of works on Mr, Hallé's 50 years of scientific research, including the third volume devoted to the "Canopy Raft" expeditions, to be published this October simultaneously in France and Québec (subscribe until June 21 at ulule.com/radeaudescimes). The exhibition will be located in the terminal's public departures area, near Gate 6. Passengers will be able to see this magnificent exhibition until the end of June.
