NextLabs Announces Industry Veteran Patrick Ball Joins Company as Senior Vice President of Global Sales


SAN MATEO, Calif., Jan. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- NextLabs, a leading provider of data-centric security software to protect business critical data and applications, announced that Patrick Ball joined NextLabs to run global sales operations for the company. Ball's responsibilities will include day-to-day operations for all aspects of direct and indirect sales to enable NextLabs to continue its rapid growth on a global scale.

The addition of Ball to the management team reflects the growing importance organizations are placing on implementing new technologies to protect their business-critical data. NextLabs is taking an aggressive stance to attack the market with increasing investment to expand go-to-market and customer acquisition capacity. The significant increase in internal and external breaches is driving organizations to enhance security solutions focused on directly protecting their sensitive data. Ball brings over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, including data management, collaboration, and IT infrastructure. Most recently, he was Vice President, Sales, Western Region at Cloudera where he was instrumental in building a world-class sales team to help the company grow bookings 100% year over year. Prior to Cloudera, he served in various Senior sales leadership positions at enterprise software companies including Moxie and BMC Software.
