French Bulldog Reigns Supreme Once Again In West Palm Beach

NEW YORK, March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- For the third time in a row, the French Bulldog took West Palm Beach's top spot in the American Kennel Club's (AKC®) 2018 ranking of the most popular AKC-recognized dog breeds in the U.S.

The French Bulldog was also recognized as the #1 pup in Las Vegas, Oakland and Orlando.

The Poodle (currently ranked 6th), Maltese (7th) and Siberian Husky (10th) are three new breeds that broke into last year's top ten list, which moved the Rottweiler (previously ranked 8th in 2017), Great Dane (6th) and Cane Corso (10th) further down on the list.

"The French Bulldog continues to be on top in West Palm Beach," said AKC Executive Secretary Gina DiNardo. "French Bulldogs are an intelligent and playful breed, it's easy to see why they're a popular choice."
