Schneider Electric Joins Shadow Labs' Accelerator as a Corporate Sponsor

To close out nine-weeks of mentoring innovative startups disrupting architecture, engineering, construction, and commercial real estate, Shadow Ventures and their partners Schneider Electric and WeWork will be hosting the first ever Shadow Labs Demo Day.
Through their virtual incubator program, Shadow Labs, Shadow Ventures and their corporate partners launched their first accelerator in October 2018 with an exclusive kick-off event featuring a fireside chat with Roadie CEO, Marc Gorlin. For nine-weeks, this completely virtual program focused on fast tracking early-stage AEC and CRE startups by providing them with the mentors, support, and business and technical resources they need to successfully bring their products to market.

What makes Shadow Labs Accelerator Program unique?
- The program is non-equity based putting the entrepreneur, not the investor, first.
- The curriculum was developed by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs.
- Participation does not equal graduation. Each start-up must meet specific criteria to graduate.
- The program is remote, except for the kick off and demo day. Start-ups do have the option to attend in person.
- The platform runs entirely off Slack and Zoom Video Conference.
- Curriculum content is recorded allowing start-ups to learn independently. Hands-on time is spent working on deliverables, creating a "flipped classroom" of sorts.
- The mentors and advisors assigned are industry professionals or technical specialists and are all available via Slack and Zoom to our start-ups no matter their time zone.
