New Harris Poll Shows Answer to Labor Shortages May be Baby Boomers

OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With so much attention on waves of baby boomers retiring daily, those still in the workforce are often overlooked. But on Wednesday, Express Employment Professionals will release a poll of working baby boomers, revealing their plans for delayed retirement, job satisfaction levels and desire to mentor the next generation.

The survey, conducted by Harris Poll, offers a new perspective on the generation with an outsized influence on work and retirement trends. It also offers valuable information to employers struggling with the dual challenges of finding workers in a tight labor market and managing generational transitions in the workplace.

The survey will be released at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

If you would like to obtain an advance copy of the survey results or arrange an interview with Express CEO Bill Stoller to discuss this topic, please contact Sheena Karami, Director of Corporate Communications and PR, at (405) 717-5966.
