Heritage Bank announces new commercial banking team in greater Portland, Oregon

OLYMPIA, Wash., Jan. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Heritage Bank, subsidiary of Heritage Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: HFWA), is pleased to announce the addition of a new commercial banking team in the greater Portland, Oregon area. The new team includes Chris Kane, Amber Clark, Kyle Gibson, Brandon Posey, Patrick Ridenour, Stephanie Kreiger and Paige Rinde.

Chris Kane joins Heritage as the commercial banking team leader and has been in the banking industry for 17 years. Most recently, he led a team at a regional community bank and focused on providing commercial and private banking related services to the dental and healthcare fields. In his community, Kane volunteers at numerous Portland organizations including Metropolitan Family Services, Oregon Food Bank and Trillium Family Services. Kane has a degree in finance from Bentley University in Waltham, Mass.

Amber Clark joins the team as a commercial banking officer. She has over 13 years of experience, with expertise in business development and portfolio management of commercial, healthcare and dental business customers. Actively involved in her community, Clark volunteers regularly for the Dental Foundation of Oregon, which provides free healthcare to underprivileged children and youth. She is also active in many local dental societies.

Kyle Gibson joins the team as a commercial banking officer. Gibson comes to Heritage with 14 years of banking experience. In addition to continuously growing his customer base, Gibson is respected for guiding sales efforts and providing high-quality customer service. Gibson is an active member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Associated General Contractors (AGC) and Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). He is also a mentor for the Port of Portland's Mentor Protégé program.

Brandon Posey joins Heritage Bank as a commercial banking officer with over 17 years of lending experience in the Portland/SW Washington area with specific expertise in the healthcare and real estate markets. Posey is a banker who focuses on building long term relationships and providing a consultative approach while addressing his customer's needs. Posey is a native of the Pacific Northwest, having been raised locally and graduating from Portland State University. He remains involved in the community, volunteering his time at a number of nonprofit organizations, including the Red Cross, Park Foundation and Oregon Food Bank.

Patrick Ridenour joins Heritage as a commercial banking officer. He has over eight years of experience in the commercial banking industry with expertise in business development, credit analysis and portfolio management for commercial and industrial as well as professional service industries. Ridenour earned an Associate of Science in business administration and accounting from Portland Community College. Ridenour contributes to the community through volunteer work with the Oregon Food Bank and Oregon Dog Rescue.

Stephanie Kreiger joins Heritage Bank as a senior credit analyst with over 12 years of commercial and private banking experience. She has expertise in financial analysis and cash flow, collateral analysis, portfolio management and commercial real estate. Kreiger contributes to the community through volunteer work with the Oregon Food Bank, Store to Door, Special Olympics of Oregon and Oregon Humane Society. Kreiger has a Bachelor of Arts in business administration with a double major in global business and Spanish from the University of Portland.

Paige Rinde joins Heritage Bank as a senior loan production assistant. Rinde has over 11 years of banking experience. She volunteers actively at Albertina Kerr in Albertina's Place in the Portland area.
