Treasury Veteran, Justin Brimfield Joins ICD as Chief Marketing Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- ICD, the premier provider of institutional trading and investment risk management technology, announced today that it has hired treasury technology and C-suite veteran Justin Brimfield to drive marketing globally as its Chief Marketing Officer.

"I could not be happier to have Justin join ICD in such a critical role and at such critical time as ICD broadens its footprint as the largest independent portal for institutional trading and investment risk management," says ICD Chief Executive Officer, Tory Hazard.  "As a long-term strategic partner, I was extremely impressed with how Justin shaped the Reval brand, engaging all channels within the treasury community. I look forward to Justin applying his marketing acumen and strategic skillset to ICD."

Brimfield comes to ICD with deep domain experience in the treasury space, having spent the last 17 years in the industry, most recently as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Strategy at Reval and prior to that as SVP of Thomson Financial's Corporate Treasury Services division.  Over the course of his career, Justin led and integrated multiple acquisitions, including Selkirk Technologies, FXpress and EcoFinance and successfully brought a number of market-leading solutions to market, such as Thomson ONE Treasury, Treasura and Reval's Treasury & Risk Management solution.  Justin was a member of Reval's executive management team and was instrumental in the firm's sale to ION Trading.

"I want to go where the market is headed," says Brimfield. "The market is not just looking for a relationship, but wants an independent portal with unbiased investment options, a people-driven support organization and a portal that deeply integrates into the technology ecosystem of their treasury stack."

Justin is a member of ICD's executive management team, with responsibility for the firm's marketing efforts, driving strategy and leading the firm's go-to-market planning and execution as ICD expands into new functional and geographic markets.
