Media Invitation - Correctional Officers from Atlantic Institution will gather in front of Mr. Pat Finnigan's office today to protest against the Prison Needle Exchange Program
MIRAMICHI, NB, Nov. 30, 2018 /CNW/ - Correctional Officers from the Atlantic Institution will gather in front of Liberal MP Pat Finnigan's office this afternoon to protest against the Prison Needle Exchange Program (PNEP).
The government recently implemented this program in two institutions across Canada, with the Atlantic Institution in Renous, NB being one.
Correctional officers from the Atlantic Institution also met with hundreds of members of the public at the Miramichi farmers' market to gather signatures for an ongoing petition against the PNEP.
