Kia Motors America Announces October Sales

IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Kia Motors America today announced October sales of 45,102 vehicles, led by Forte with 9,537 units sold, the highest October sales total in company history for the nameplate. In addition, the brand's popular Rio, Niro and Sportage models each posted double-digit gains of 45-, 11- and 10-percent, respectively, over the same period last year.

"With the Forte's best-ever October sales and three additional models realizing double-digit sales growth, we are confident that Kia's sales momentum will remain positive well into the first quarter of 2019," said Bill Peffer, vice president, sales operations, Kia Motors America.
