Hub International Acquires The Assets Of California-Based Liberty New Gate Insurance Services, LLC


CHICAGO, Oct. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hub International Limited (Hub), a leading global insurance brokerage, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Liberty New Gate Insurance Services, LLC (Liberty New Gate). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Watsonville, California, Liberty New Gate has more than 35 years of commercial insurance expertise, specializing in the agriculture and horticulture sector, as well as expertise in creating behavior-based occupational health and safety plans. Their focus on the agribusiness industry supports Hub's recent launch of its Specialty practices by complementing and strengthening Hub's existing solutions.

Matt Muirhead, President of Liberty New Gate will join Hub California and report to Darren Caesar, Senior Executive Vice President of Hub California.
