New Book Examines the Ecclesiastical and Theological Underpinnings of the Roman Papacy

SUWANEE, Ga., July 31, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Under what authority does the Pope reign over the Roman Catholic Church? What are the ecclesiastical and theological underpinnings of the papacy? How did early Christians view the authority of the Roman bishop?

Dr. Brattston answers these questions by examining Biblical and early Christian sources from the first three centuries of the Church. Wherever you stand on the issue, you will be informed, enlightened, and challenged by the evidence presented.

The book features a Foreword written by Dr. Thomas P. Scheck, Associate Professor of Theology at Ave Maria University.

With a release date of August 31, 2018, the book is available for pre-order now in hardcover, paperback, and ebook formats.
