Auto Club Responds to Wildfire Needs with Increased Claims Access, Free Roadside Service for First Responders, Community Donations

The Automobile Club of Southern California is responding to aid victims of the devastating Southern California wildfires.

Auto Club claims team members have been working around the clock to help the many insured members who have experienced loss during the wildfires.

Insured members who have incurred a loss can file a claim online at AAA.com, by phone at 1-800-67-CLAIM (1-800-672-5246), or in person during regular hours at the Pasadena (801 E. Union St.) and Santa Monica (2730 Santa Monica Blvd.) Auto Club branches. Auto Club Claims team members will also be available at federal and state disaster recovery centers to assist insured members.

Auto Club emergency roadside services will also be offered free of charge to police, emergency medical technicians, firefighters and Army National Guard to support them in their wildfire recovery efforts.

"During this difficult time for so many Southern Californians, we want to help our communities recover as quickly as possible. In addition to offering greater access to our claims professionals, we are also extending payment due dates for membership and insurance for those members most severely impacted by the wildfires," said Auto Club President & CEO Greg Backley.

Auto Club employees assembled thousands of necessity hygiene kits to distribute to those who have been displaced by the fires. The Auto Club has also committed to donating $800,000 to the United Way of Greater Los Angeles and $200,000 to the American Red Cross, earmarked for wildfire relief efforts.
