iFIT Invests in the Future of Fitness; Launches New Lineup of Smart Equipment With Updated iFIT OS and AI Coach

iFIT, the global leader in exercise equipment and fitness content, announced its latest smart product lineup today, which includes new hardware, a redesigned operating system, the pioneering, interactive AI Coach (beta), and new iconic outdoor content. The company will be debuting over 40 different smart or smart-enabled products across its NordicTrack and ProForm home fitness brands.

The entire range features lightning-fast new screens and processors, with highlights including the new X24 Treadmill, an innovative treadmill designed specifically for incline training with up to 40% incline, the immersive new X24 Bike which also features incline and decline, and significant updates to the top-selling NordicTrack 2450 Commercial Treadmill. All the new products benefit from the entirely new iFIT software experience.

"We are at a turning point in fitness as AI enables us to deliver truly personal experiences," says Kevin Duffy, iFIT Chief Executive Officer. "Our team has updated our entire hardware and software experience using best-in-class technology that delivers real results for every member."

Personalized fitness at a click

The smart-enabled hardware across the NordicTrack and ProForm assortment supports iFIT's proprietary SmartAdjusttm and ActivePulsetm technology to ensure a truly personalized workout without the guesswork.

When members start any iFIT workout, their iFIT-enabled machine's smart technology will automatically match the speed, incline, and resistance of the iFIT content and trainer. SmartAdjusttm personalizes these workouts to a member's individual fitness level so they can stay fully immersed in trainer-led workouts. ActivePulsetm takes that personalization even further as it uses a member's heart rate information to automatically adjust the workout to keep them in the right heart rate zone. Both of these personalization systems intelligently adjust the workout speed, incline and resistance to create the perfect personal workout.

Personal trainer in their pocket

iFIT AI Coach (currently in beta) selects and recommends the best iFIT workouts and trainers for each member from iFIT's outdoor fitness library of over 10,000 workouts. Available to all iFIT members at no additional cost, iFIT AI Coach works directly with members to help build healthy habits and accountability. iFIT AI Coach communicates through texts so it can accompany members wherever they (and their phones) are, while workouts that iFIT AI Coach schedule automatically appear on the member's iFIT-enabled machine, removing yet another barrier to doing that workout. The more members engage with the iFIT AI Coach by asking questions or doing workouts, the more it tailors their experience, acting as an extension of iFIT's highly skilled and certified trainers and guides.

More engaging iFIT experience

Along with iFIT AI Coach, iFIT is pushing forward the future of the personal fitness industry with new features like watching popular streaming services while working out and Workout Creator that enables members to program their own library of personal workouts. Members can get an effective workout as well as great entertainment, while iFIT's category-leading outdoor workouts from over 121 countries are now available in nine languages. A new simplified User Interface has improved many of the existing features that members already love, and iFIT continues to sync with Strava, Garmin, Google Fit, and Apple Health, so members can store all of their fitness data in one place and track every step, calorie, and workout to show their progress toward achieving their fitness goals.

The new lineup of smart products is now available online and in select retailers. To learn more about iFIT's new operating system and AI Coach, visit https://www.ifit.com/blog.
