Media Advisory - Canada Post to unveil stamp honouring Canadian singer-songwriter and musician Sarah McLachlan


VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 10, 2024 /CNW/ - Canada Post invites you to the unveiling of a new commemorative stamp, celebrating Canadian singer-songwriter and musician Sarah McLachlan on Tuesday, September 17.

Sarah McLachlan is a Grammy and JUNO award-winning singer-songwriter and musician who has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. Her unique fusion of pop and folk has spawned such hits as "Building a Mystery" and "Angel" and earned her a place in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame (2017) and appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada (1999).

The celebration will take place at the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, which has offered inclusive and barrier free musical program to children and youth since 2002.
