MPF Products, Inc. Acquires Precision Optical Component Manufacturer Blue Ridge Optics

MPF Products, Inc. is pleased to announce that they have acquired Blue Ridge Optics.

GRAY COURT, S.C., Jan. 31, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MPF Products, Inc. - a manufacturing company that produces connectors, feedthroughs, and viewports using ceramic-to-metal seal technology for a variety of Ultra High Vacuum applications, including semiconductor equipment, vacuum coating, quantum technology and aerospace manufacturing - is pleased to announce that they have acquired Blue Ridge Optics, a precision optical component manufacturer.

The acquisition process has been years in the making and was formally finalized in December 2021. In the year since the acquisition was finalized, MPF Products and Blue Ridge Optics have been working to merge their organizations into a single cohesive unit utilizing a vertical integration structure.

MPF Products and Blue Ridge Optics have long been partners in creating UHV optical assemblies for use in numerous industries. The acquisition has afforded MPF Products the opportunity to create an in-house optics division - without having to start from the ground up - and allows them to seamlessly work together from research and development through the manufacturing process and state-of-the-art mechanical and optical testing capabilities at both facilities.
