Media Advisory - Government to make an announcement about preventing gun crime and gang violence in Saint John and the Kennebecasis Region
SAINT JOHN, NB, Jan. 24, 2023 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join Wayne Long, Member of Parliament for Saint John?Rothesay, on behalf of the Honourable Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety, to make an announcement regarding federal support for organizations on the front lines of the fight against gun crime and gang violence in the City of Saint John and the Kennebecasis Region.
MP Long will be joined by Her Worship Donna Noade Reardon, Mayor of the City of Saint John, Her Worship Libby O'Hara, Mayor of Quispamsis, and Her Worship Doctor Nancy Grant, Mayor of Rothesay.
Following the announcement, MP Long and Mayors Reardon, O'Hara, and Grant will take questions from the media.
