The Termeer Foundation Announces Application for the Class of 2023 Termeer Fellows Is Open

The Termeer Foundation, a nonprofit organization working to connect the world of healthcare innovators until every patient has a cure, announces the application for the Class of 2023 Henri Termeer Fellows is open.

The Henri Termeer Fellowship is awarded each year to first time CEOs of early-stage or non-profit biotech/life science organizations who are committed to developing medicines and medical technologies that have the potential to deliver life-changing treatments to patients. Recipients are often early in their leadership career trajectory and understand the value of establishing professional relationships and community networks that will help foster their own professional growth and advance their company mission. Termeer Fellows place a high priority on learning from others as well as serving as a mentor themselves.

Biotechnology leaders who qualify and are selected as a Termeer Fellow will receive membership in the Termeer network, an ever-expanding group of emerging and established healthcare innovators. The network includes participants in key programs as well as mentors, board members, advisors and many partners across industry and academia. The support of the Termeer Foundation includes mentoring, networking and professional development intended to facilitate connections, break down silos, strengthen skill sets and ultimately enable a diverse array of current and future biotech leaders who bring much-needed treatments to patients. The Foundation organizes and facilitates a variety of forums through which members of the network can connect and share, including events, presentations, peer-to-peer sharing, 1:1 mentoring and virtual/online forums.

"Since its inception in 2018, The Henri Termeer Fellowship Program has quickly become the hallmark of the Foundation. The extraordinarily talented individuals that we have supported with this initiative continue to evolve along with the companies that they lead," said Catharine Smith, Executive Director, the Termeer Foundation. "The program identifies and supports emerging leaders who are among the best and brightest in the biotechnology sector. The Foundation is committed to helping companies develop medicines that may someday lead to cures and recognizing the ongoing investment it takes to nurture tomorrow's leaders who may help in reaching these ground-breaking treatments."

All applicants must complete an online application by January 6, 2023 that can be found here. The 2023 Henri Termeer Fellows will be announced early April 2023.
