COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, Nov. 25, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
955 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,248,200*;
12 new deaths, for a total of 17,314 deaths, i.e.;
3 deaths in the last 24 hours,
4 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
5 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago; NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day. Otherwise, 48 deaths are added to the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic. It is a catch-up in the data entry of deaths that occurred more than 60 days ago.
3,749 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,807 hospitalizations, including 584 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 22 compared to the previous day;
161 new entries,
139 new discharges;
46 people in intensive care, including 24 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 5 compared to the previous day;
10 new entries,
5 new discharges;
12,319 samples conducted on November 23;
311,510 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 262,168 positive: 115 declared for yesterday, including 102 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
22,321 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,320,190 doses received by Quebecers.
