WeShare Community for Small Business Saturday

Unite Health Share Ministriestm (UHSM), a nonprofit, faith-based health sharing ministry supporting Christian believers through member-to-member healthcare sharing memberships, encourages participation this Small Business Saturday, November 26. Recognized on the Saturday following Black Friday, it serves as a reminder to support small businesses during the holiday season. To participate in homegrown events, check with the local community.

Shopping small offers beautiful, one-of-a-kind, handcrafted gifts and experiences that give back to the community. Small businesses also provide a hub for relationship building and forming lifelong connections with the local barber, barista or thrift store owner. With the public's help, these businesses can continue to spread opportunity, inspiration and positivity to countless generations.

"At UHSM, we can truly get behind Small Business Saturday," expressed UHSM President Christopher Jin. "We help our members access affordable healthcare and often work directly with small businesses, enacting healthcare services. Small businesses understand the importance of community and know how important it is to support their neighbors, a valuable part of our Christian principles of sharing in each other's burdens."

This Friday, November 25, WeShare invites members and the public to visit its community blog for more ways to support Small Business Saturday. Dedicated to building connections in the community and on behalf of its members, WeShare promotes supporting small businesses by purchasing holiday gifts at local shops and engaging on social media with the hashtags: #ShopSmall, #ShopLocal, #SmallBizSat and #SmallBusinessSaturday.

Based on a preventative, contemporary approach to healthcare, WeShare by UHSM shares in the modern-day costs associated with healthcare, effectively sharing in affordability across membership. With various partnerships and subscriptions, members have access to programs that provide additional community support and quality healthcare, all the while connecting members with valuable resources, including nonprofit Cancer Kinship; mental health expert and author Brittney Moses; motivational speaker and extreme endurance cyclist, Grant Lottering; podcast and ministry, the Female Athlete Mission ('The FAM,'); and youth-centered, Fireside Ministry. Visit the WeShare by UHSM website for more information on the modern approach to healthcare, Health Care Sharing Ministry (HCSM).
