Stonebridge Offers Site Audits in Response to EPA Emissions Flyovers

Stonebridge introduces TiteSite, a complete physical wellsite asset inventory and emissions audit providing detail on all equipment, materials, and asset value.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 17, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Given recent stepped-up efforts announced by The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to conduct flyovers of major domestic well fields in search of unauthorized emissions, Stonebridge Consulting is offering a support package designed to identify well/storage site devices and components which might be the cause. The TiteSite Program offers upstream companies a complete and thorough physical asset inventory audit on a per-site basis, providing detail on all equipment and materials onsite plus asset value as ascribed by the COPAS (Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies).

"Advancing attention to ESG concerns across Oil and Gas is spawning the need for expert support to know what assets have the potential for causing emissions as a first step toward redress," said Adam Hutchinson, Chief Strategy Officer at Stonebridge. "Trouble is, most cross-enterprise sustainability efforts don't have the manpower nor expertise to know what is onsite, how complex, interconnected components work, and where trouble spots can occur. Stonebridge's team has deep field experience in site design, asset specifications, and engineering. Through TiteSite, we can give companies a head start toward meeting advancing compliance regulations."

A typical site can be audited by Stonebridge for as little as $300, Hutchinson said. Audits include multiple photos of each site asset, manufacturer plate information, COPAS or Fair Market Value, and identification of devices and components capable of causing emissions. "For the price of a sign required at the entrance of a well, TiteSite offers peace of mind to the owners and managers that any unauthorized emissions issues can be quickly diagnosed and resolved."

The program offers additional benefits beyond ESG. Audit data can be used by accountants to properly depreciate assets. It also provides the foundation for SCADA automation initiatives. More advanced objectives can include the correlation of asset audit data with other data sources; and, using predictive/prescriptive analytics, site performance as well as remediation efforts, if needed, can be optimized.
