Pull Up Fund Donates $1 Million to DonorsChoose School Supply Requests from Prince George's County Teachers

The organization will support the county's public school teachers by funding every live DonorsChoose project and tripling every donation made to a project

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md., Nov. 10, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, Pull Up Fund is funding every public school classroom request from teachers in Prince George's County, Maryland, that is live on the education nonprofit platform DonorsChoose. Once every project is funded, Pull Up Fund will triple donations made to new DonorsChoose projects in the county until the campaign reaches an overall giving total of $1 million.

Native Prince Georgian Sam Brin founded Pull Up Fund in 2020 to support a variety of social programs. Today, Pull Up Fund supports local causes in Prince George's County, as well as throughout the state of Maine. In both geographies, Pull Up Fund focuses on youth programs and mental health services, as well as re-entry support for individuals returning to the community from incarceration.
