AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah CFO Named 2022 Bay Area CFO of the Year
AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah (AAA NCNU), which has more than 6 million members in Northern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and Alaska, announced today that Clay Creasey, its chief financial officer (CFO), has been named 2022 Bay Area CFO of the Year in the Transformation Agent Category.

Creasey joined AAA in 2016 with more than 25 years of experience as a CFO. He is responsible for a variety of club operations, including accounting, financial planning, investing, and risk management. As a result of his outstanding achievements in breaking through traditional financial boundaries and contributing to AAA NCNU's transformation, he was named the 2022 Bay Area CFO of the Year in the Transformation Agent Category.
Creasey played a significant role in AAA NCNU's acquisition of AAA Smart Home and GoMentum Station. In addition, he played a key role in launching GIG Car Share, one of the nation's largest free-floating car share services. Creasey achieved all of this while helping the organization increase Member growth and satisfaction.

Before joining AAA, Creasey held positions at Sun Bancorp, Toys "R" Us Inc., Mervyn's (a subsidiary of Target Corporation), Lucky Stores, Fireman's Insurance Fund, and Crocker National Bank.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in statistics and an MBA from Stanford University, and he is a certified public accountant.
The Bay Area CFO of the Year Awards are presented by Larkin Street Youth Services in partnership with the San Francisco Business Times. Creasey was honored at a ceremony last month at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco. The ceremony attracted over 500 Bay Area financial and business leaders, while also raising money to support Larkin Street's mission to end youth homelessness.
