KTR Indoor Action Sports Playground Brings the Ultimate Fun and Safety to Phoenix's West Valley

Mesa-based franchise opens newest 35,000 square foot family-friendly entertainment complex in Glendale, Arizona

GLENDALE, Ariz., Oct. 6, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- KTR, creator of the world's first indoor action sports playground, announces the opening of its newest, state-of-the-art, family-entertainment center in Glendale, Arizona. A franchise based out of Mesa, Arizona, KTR Glendale officially opened its doors on October 1, 2022, at 18295 North 83rd Avenue, next to Sam's Club.

KTR offers kids of all ages and athletic abilities a place to come together and take fun to the next level through skateboards, scooters, freerunning, trampolines, ninja zones and sports. KTR Glendale also boasts the brand's newest state-of-the-art features, such as a high-flying zip line and triple-seat super slide.

KTR Glendale is the brand's fourth location in the valley and fifth location nationwide. Attractions in the 35,000 square foot facility go beyond wall-to-wall sports. Celebrations take on new heights in the second-story VIP deck for parties and group events. Schools, churches, businesses and clubs can host group events or rent out the entire facility, and families can enjoy the café and retail shop to purchase or rent gear.

While KTR offers passes for open play, it also features monthly all-access memberships and weekly classes, developed by coaches, dads and KTR Founder Geoff Eaton, who is also the father of skateboarding Olympic bronze medalist Jagger Eaton.

"I originally created KTR for my boys," said Eaton. "I grew up in the world of competitive gymnastics and around skateparks, and I knew I wanted something safer for them. I wanted to create a place where my kids and their friends could learn and thrive, where they could be kids while learning to set goals, excel and gain all the awesome benefits that come with physical activity."

Classes at KTR Glendale include skateboard, scooter, tumbling, trampoline and freerunning?similar to Parkour. With class options from beginner to advanced, there is something for everyone at KTR. In addition, KTR's Hero Program offers preschoolers an active learning program one to four days per week where they can learn the physical, academic, and social skills of being a real hero.

The KTR franchise was developed by the creators of Aqua-Tots Swim Schools, and its Glendale location opened next door to Aqua-Tots' newest learn-to-swim facility, creating a convenient, one-stop shop for fun and safety.

"Having the opportunity to serve families in the west valley through KTR and Aqua-Tots is an amazing experience," said Aqua-Tots Co-Founder and KTR Managing Partner Ron Sciarro. "Both brands have a unique commitment to safety, and I'm excited to see young families join our community through both swim lessons and sports. Our staff is committed to teaching kids through curriculum that's unique to this industry and intentional in its design."

KTR Glendale is now open to the public. To purchase passes, reserve a party or enroll in classes, visit glendale.ktr-centers.com.
