LaVoieHealthScience Bolsters Commercial Strategic Communications Expertise with the Hiring of Deborah Plumstead as Vice President


LaVoieHealthScience (LHS), an integrated investor and public relations consulting agency focused on advancing health and science innovations, today announced the appointment of Deborah Plumstead as Vice President of Health Communications. Ms. Plumstead brings over 20 years of experience leading product and corporate public relations initiatives for companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors. She has worked across a range of medical and therapeutic areas, including oncology, ophthalmology, rare disease, neuroscience, rheumatology, infectious diseases, and women's health. Ms. Plumstead brings expertise in commercial strategic communications programming and execution from pharma to biopharma and beyond.

Prior to joining LHS, Ms. Plumstead was Vice President, Client Navigation at Green Room Communications, a national healthcare public relations agency. In that role, she managed the strategy and execution of pre-commercial and regulatory communications, patient advocacy campaigns, and thought leadership programs. Prior to that position, she served as a senior communications consultant for healthcare non-profits including the American Nurses Foundation, Kennedy Krieger Institute, and the American Pharmacists Association. Ms. Plumstead started her career in public affairs with Burson-Marsteller's Washington, DC office. Subsequently, she spent 12 years working overseas for global public relations agencies and boutique consultancies in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Trinidad, Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
