NODAR Names Amit Mehta Vice President of Business Development

Charged with advancing global sales initiatives, former head of innovation at Tier 1 automotive supplier joins the leading provider of stereo vision technology for AVs

Mehta is responsible for driving the company's technology partnership and sales initiatives on a global scale and building NODAR's market share in the automotive industry.

Mehta comes to NODAR from North American Lighting, Inc. (NAL), a member of the Koito Group of Companies, the world's largest Tier 1 supplier of exterior automotive lighting in North America. While heading the innovation division, which he founded within NAL, Mehta worked with startups, Tier 1 companies, and OEMs to develop partnerships and investments that would contribute to automotive vehicle safety through the evolution of lighting.

Prior to that role, Mehta was a senior development manager at NAL, where he focused on autonomous driving and related technologies. He previously served as a project and design engineer at Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, and was granted four patents while there. Mehta holds an MBA from DePaul University and a BSc from Lawrence Technological Institute.
