Media Advisory - Minister Vandal to announce major Government of Canada support for events and tourism experiences in Calgary and southern Alberta
CALGARY, AB, June 29, 2022 /CNW/ - The Honourable Daniel Vandal, Minister Responsible for PrairiesCan, will announce federal support for a range of initiatives that will stimulate the local economy in Calgary and position the Alberta tourism economy for long-term growth.
Joining Minister Vandal will be George Chahal, MP for Calgary Skyview; Steve McDonough, President and Chairman of the Board, Calgary Stampede; Franca Gualtieri, Executive Director, Tourism Calgary; and Lindsey Galloway, President and CEO, Heritage Park.
