Vizient Announces 2022 Innovative Technology Exchange, Opens Supplier Application Process

Vizient, Inc. announced today it is accepting applications for its 2022 Innovative Technology Exchange and encouraged suppliers of medical equipment and technology who want to showcase their products to health care decision makers from across the country to participate. The event will take place October 17 in Dallas and the deadline to apply is April 22. Applications can be submitted here.

The annual Innovative Technology Exchange offers selected suppliers the unique opportunity to demonstrate their technologies to supply chain and clinical leaders from Vizient's member hospitals and subject matter experts who serve on Vizient member councils. Selected suppliers showcase how their technologies improve clinical outcomes, enhance safety or drive incremental improvements to health care delivery or business models. The event is part of a process that can earn candidates a Vizient Innovative Technology contract or designation.

"A technology that is deemed innovative by Vizient's member council signifies to the health care community its potential to make a compelling and impactful improvement in pressing health care challenges," said Debbie Archer, procurement compliance director at Vizient, who leads the program. "The event is a wonderful connection point between health care organizations and suppliers of cutting-edge technologies in support of advancing health care."

The annual Innovative Technology Exchange is part of Vizient's Innovative Technology Program that includes product review of supplier-submitted technologies by member-led councils and task forces. Since 2003, Vizient has reviewed over 3,000 technologies as part of its Innovative Technology Program.
