COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, Jan. 7, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
16,176 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 712,358;
27 new deaths, for a total of 11,873 deaths;
2,133 hospitalizations, for an increase of 180 compared to the previous day;
427 new entries,
247 new discharges;
229 people in intensive care, for an increase of 22 compared to the previous day;
46 new entries,
24 new discharges;
57,659 samples conducted on January 5.
Vaccination
103,969 doses administered are added, that is 99,186 doses in the last 24 hours and 4,783 doses before January 6, for a total of 15,503,396 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 253,154 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 15,756,550 doses received by Quebecers.
