Alexandria Technology Selected by FactSet for Earnings Call Search Capabilities


Alexandria Technology, the leading Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology for the investment industry, today announced it is working with FactSet, a global provider of integrated financial information, analytical applications, and industry-leading service, to bring corporate Earnings Call Sentiment analysis to FactSet users.

Alexandria's text classifiers scan investment documents to extract actionable information for investment professionals. FactSet clients can now capture insights from 1.7 MM transcripts covering a wide universe of publicly traded companies around the world. This gives users the power to identify positive versus negative calls for companies in a sector or global stock universe, quickly see the biggest themes from a call, and how those themes have changed over time.

This collaboration unites two industry leaders within their respective domains and provides FactSet users with a valuable and differentiated data set. Ultimately, the combination of Alexandria's text analysis and FactSet's earnings calls data should offer measurable performance improvements to institutional investors.
